This wine displays lovely red and purple tones in the glass. Rich, vibrant aromas of blackcurrant and briary fruits with hints of vanillin oak and spice. Red and purple fruits carry onto the palate supported by a rich, earthy undertone and fine silky tannins giving the wine terrific structure, great length and persistent flavour. A wine with great vibrancy in its youth with the potential to develop for many years.

James Halliday – A supple and soft red of distinct red berry fruitiness measured by choc-mocha wood influence and faint minty highlights. A beautiful flow to this wine, mellowness riding on fine waves of tannin and orange-y acidity. Easy pleasure here, it's a bold and brassy wine but with high polish applied. One for cellaring long, too. -Mike Bennie
