About this Wine

At the Château de Gaube, the Morel family produces the Bas-Armagnac. Around the farm you will find a whole 6.5 hectares of vineyards with about 40 year old vines with the Baco grape variety. Saint Martin distills the entire production and works with a continuous distillation process where no more than 52% alcohol is obtained. For the cask storage, they use oak from the local forest. Darroze Collection Unique Vintage 1971 Château de Gaube is bottled at 42.9% alcohol and consists of 100% Baco. This Bas-Armagnac has spent a full 47 years on oak barrels.
