Fantini Casale Vecchio Montepulciano is a 100% Montepulciano from Italy’s Abruzzo region, displaying a ruby-red color with garnet highlights. The bouquet is intense and persistent, revealing dried flowers, spice, licorice, and marasca cherry notes. Full-bodied and rich on the palate, it mirrors the nose with velvety texture and depth. Fermented in small wooden vats and aged for six months in American oak, it benefits from decanting and pairs beautifully with roasted meats, hearty pasta, and seasoned cheeses.
