About this Wine

Harvested from premium vineyards across the Clare Valley, each vineyard’s unique character is meticulously developed. The Kilikanoon vineyards span all three valleys that define the Clare Valley's distinct environment and terroir. This diversity allows for the optimal timing of harvest, ensuring the berries achieve a rich flavour profile. The grapes are crushed into stainless steel tanks, where they naturally begin fermentation. After fermentation, the skins are pressed, and the wine is aged in a combination of new and seasoned French oak hogsheads for 14 months. Once softened, a refined blend is crafted by selecting the finest barrels from each batch, showcasing the elegance and richness of cooler climate Shiraz.
