We also have access to more than 5000 fine wines from around the world through our local supplier network. Sometimes a vintage changes, or our suppliers sell out of stock without us yet being able to push through a timely update on our website.

James Halliday – The fruit comes from the Watervale subregion of Clare Valley. It's a deep and full grenache, lashed with ripe raspberry, tart cherry, licorice, salty herbs and lavender oil scents, the palate more of the same, distinctly spicy, dashed with cinnamon and pepper elements. There's a brightness under the more potent fruit character, a pleasing lift in the mesh of that ripeness and daring spice. It feels even, good to drink, supple and flows well. A lingering fruit and spice finish appeals. The golf clap is out. – Mike Bennie

Like the story of the prodigal son who returned to his family, welcomed with opened arms, such is the return of Grenache to the consciousness and palates of wine lovers around the world. Grenache has long been a workhorse variety in Australian wine. Originally planted to produce fortified wine, Grenaches renaissance as a desired table wine continues. Prodigal Grenache was one of the first four wines made back in 1997 and sourced from a single vineyard in Leasingham.
