About this Wine

The fruit for this wine is from the exceptional season. A small parcel comprising one new French oak hogshead barrel, was selected to maximise the heady bouquet and flavour of the viognier variety. The wine is named in honour of Valerie Friend, a co-founder of Narkoojee and it joins the other three beautiful varietal wines of this series. Tasting Notes Colour: Brilliant pale straw Bouquet: White nectarine and dried apricot with hints of orange blossom, ginger, lanolin, honeycomb and integrated new French oak Flavour: White nectarine and dried apricot with hints of cumquat, marmalade, almond and integrated new French oak Texture: Intense and complex with excellent natural minerality and a long finish Alcohol: 14.0%
