Stage Door Shiraz 2021 by Stage Door Wine Co from the Adelaide Hills opens with vivid aromas of black cherry, plum and cracked pepper, lifted by a gentle hint of violet. On the palate it feels vibrant yet grounded, offering juicy dark fruits, fine tannins and a cool-climate spice that keeps everything fresh and lively. This Stage Door Shiraz 2021 delivers a confident balance of richness and clarity, making it an impressive option for anyone chasing a modern Australian shiraz with character.
It shines alongside slow-roasted lamb shoulder, chargrilled ribeye or a smoky eggplant dish, where the wine’s spice and structure elevate each bite. A brilliant choice for weeknight dinners or long lazy lunches.
