Fresh scent of blackberry, blackberry bush cracked black peppercorns, dried violet, game meats and pipe smoke.
Hits the palate with energy, yet remains focused and linear. Fresh blackberry fruits provide brightness. Complex notes of dried violet, pipe smoke and cracked black peppercorns which amplifies through to the late palate. Tannins are chewy yet provide sappy impact from the whole bunch ferment components. The palate runs long filling every crevice. Mineral accents provide interest and contrast through the finish.
