Fruit for this late release, dry Riesling is sourced from the Rostein Vineyard in the Flaxman Valley. This dry-grown vineyard was planted in 1945 and 1954, has an east-facing slope and stands at 490 metres elevation. The soils are low fertility sandy loam over quartz and gravel with a deep red clay base.
