Ten Minutes by Tractor 10X Shiraz 2024 is a vibrant cool-climate Shiraz that showcases the elegance, freshness, and savoury complexity for which the Mornington Peninsula has become renowned. Part of the estate's regional 10X range, the wine is crafted from carefully selected vineyard parcels across the Peninsula, highlighting the distinctive maritime influence and long, gentle ripening conditions of the region.
The 2024 vintage displays expressive aromas of blackberry, dark cherry, plum, cracked black pepper, violet, and subtle spice. The palate is medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, with juicy dark fruits, fine tannins, and bright natural acidity creating an energetic and approachable style. Notes of black olive, spice, and savoury herbs add complexity, while the finish is long, smooth, and refined. Cool-climate Shiraz from the Mornington Peninsula is known for favouring perfume, freshness, and finesse over sheer power, and the 10X Shiraz is a perfect example of this elegant expression. Previous vintages have been praised for their soft textural tannins, dark fruit character, and excellent drinkability, qualities that continue in the 2024 release.

Mornington Peninsula Wines
South of Melbourne, the Mornington Peninsula grape growing region has a cool, maritime climate that is most known for their Pinot Noir and Chardonnay production. Other varieties that have seen some success here include Pinot Gris and Tempranillo.
However, it does seem that Pinot Noir is their focus judging from the fact that The Mornington Peninsula International Pinot Noir Celebration is held once every two years. The event displays the region’s capabilities in making some of Australia’s finest Pinot Noir in front of local and international audiences.
